Opto-isolated USB cable and Bluetooth

PalmSens can be used as a floating device. This is, for instance, necessary when PalmSens is used as an electrochemical detector in CE (capillary electrophoresis) or when the working electrode is connected to safety ground.

 

The Bluetooth dongle allows wireless operation. The program PSTrace supports Bluetooth communication on laptops or desktop PC's which are equipped with the Bluetooth option. This wireless option also provides galvanic isolation between PalmSens and the computer.
