Developing PalmSens or EmStat software in Visual Studio .NET
Palm Instruments also provides an SDK (Software Development Kit) for Visual Studio .NET. This development kit contains the following libraries:
- PalmSens.dll:
- communications interface for PalmSens and EmStat
- handling measurements - PalmSens.Core.Data.dll:
- loading and saving method- and datafiles - PalmSens.Plot2.dll:
- plot object for data visualisation - PalmSens.Controls.dll:
provides UI controls for common actions, like:- controlling the connected device- editing measurement method files- displaying readings
The SDK is built against .NET 2.0. Example projects are included.

Developing EmStat software using the communication protocol.
Users can develop their own application program by using the communication protocol. Basic commands are available for controlling the potentiostat and applied potentiostat. The available measurement techniques can be applied by sending the values of the relevant parameters.
