PSTrace provides three modes of use:
- Scientific mode
- Analytical mode
- Corrosion mode
Scientific mode
Scientific mode is the default mode of PSTrace. The main screen of the program shows the relevant parameters for the measurement as well as the measured curve(s). Automatic as well as manual peak search is available, which results in peak potential, peakheight, peakarea and peakwidth. It is also possible to subtract curves from each other and to perform linear regression on a marked part of a curve. It is possible to set the potentiostat in the instrument using the 'Manual control' window.
Exporting measured data
Curves are stored as ASCII files and can be imported in third-party software.
The measured data including the graph itself for all curves can be exported to Excel 2007 or 2010 with one click of a button.
