Scientific mode

Scientific mode is the default mode of PSTrace. The main screen of the program shows the relevant parameters for the measurement as well as the measured curve(s). Automatic as well as manual peak search is available, which results in peak potential, peakheight, peakarea and peakwidth. It is also possible to subtract curves from each other and to perform linear regression on a marked part of a curve.

Curves are stored as ASCII files and can be imported in third-party software.

It is possible to control the instrument using the 'Manual control' window.
