Detect glucose with this enzyme modified electrode.

Glucose Oxidase (GOx) from Aspergillus Niger is immobilized on a working electrode’s the active surface of an amperometric substrate AC1.W2.RS (i.e. Platinum working electrode, silver reference electrode). The diameter of the immobilized bioactive membrane is 2 mm and the mean applied activity is 1 unit/mm².

With these sensors glucose can be detected in food or in blood. The glucose test is worldwide the most used biosensor application.

A detailed description of this sensor can be found in the literature: Anal. Chem. 2002, 74, 5913-5918; Anal. Chim. Acta 420 (2000) 9–17
