Description

These disk electrodes are small and easy to use. All are manufactured in a solvent-resistant PCTFE body (7.5 cm length x 6.35 mm OD) which is embedded with highly polished disks of different electrode materials (glassy carbon, gold, or platinum). A brass rod (1/16”) mounted in the plastic body of the electrode is used to connect these electrodes to an appropriate instrument using an alligator clip. Each electrode comes with a silicon O-ring which fits snugly on the plastic body. By rolling the O-ring to different positions, you can change the depth of the electrode mounted in an electrochemical cell. Surfaces are polished to a mirror finish and easily maintained with a polishing kit, which is sold separately.

In addition to the standard electrodes listed, BASi offer custom fabrication using this same basic design and other materials (palladium, nickel, silver, aluminum, iridium, titanium, tantalum, etc.).

NOTICE REGARDING TEMPORARY CHANGE IN THE DESIGN OF DISC-TYPE WORKING ELECTRODES
Due to the supply chain issues related to a black-colored PCTFE material, these disc-type working electrodes will have a transparent colored electrode body rather than the usual black color. Please note that these working electrodes were thoroughly tested for performance and are subject to BASi standard quality promises. This temporary change is a result of supply chain challenges and an effort to continue providing the products that researchers need to perform important work. Please contact BASi if you have any questions or concerns at .
